I am a San Francisco-based science journalist. I have written about the ethics of noninvasive prenatal testing, the economics of oil sands, Walmart's contradictory position on solar power, fashionable wear for space travel to Mars and more.

I am currently an editor at GenomeWeb. My work has also been published in Discover, Nature Medicine, IEEE Spectrum, Outside Online, and Yes!.

I have a master's from New York University's Science, Health, and Environmental Reporting Program.
